Together with his team, he has built the most precise atomic clock in the world thus far, with variation of less than one second in 15 billion years. Like a universal tool, the next generation of such clocks could help unravel more and more mysteries of the Universe, both in quantum physics and cosmology, leading hopefully to a new physics.<\/p>\n<p><em>Physicien au JILA, National Institute of Standards and Technology et \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 du Colorado \u00e0 Boulder, Jun Ye se consacre principalement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude des atomes ultra-froids, des mol\u00e9cules ultra-froides et aux mesures laser de haute pr\u00e9cision.
